Tournament Details

We expect to have a GREAT tournament and want everyone to have a fun time! Please remember we a ZERO TOLERANCE ASSOCIATION. If any parent/coach engages in heckling, swearing, or creating a disturbance they will be asked to leave the arena and will be barred for the remainder of the tournament. Thanks to all of the participants in the tournament and their family members who support youth hockey!

The rules for the tournament are as follows:

1. All teams need to report to the arena 1 hour prior to their first game. The team Manager will need to provide:
   
   • USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION ROSTER (A Copy is okay)
     
   • COPIES OF THE TEAM MEMBERS BIRTH CERTIFICATES
     
   • MEDICAL WAIVER/RELEASES (Consent to treat)
     
   • 3 – TEAM ROSTER STICKERS FOR EACH GAME FOR SCORE SHEETS
     
2. All teams must be prepared to go onto the ice 20 minutes prior to the scheduled game time.
   
3. All games will be played under USA rules.
   
4. Squirt: First period will be 12 min. run time and 2 – 12 min. stop time
   Mite: First period will be 12 min. run time and 2 – 12 min. stop time
   (If you are 6 goals ahead then it will be run time except for a score or an injury)
   
5. Warm-Up: A 5 minute warm-up starts at the designated time whether the team is on the ice or not.
   
6. Scoring: WIN – 2 points, TIE – 1 point, LOSS – 0 points. If there is a tie in the total points the following criteria will apply:
   
   • Head to Head Competition
     
   • Fewest Goals Allowed
     
   • Fewest Penalties
     
7. One (1) – minute time-out per game.
   
8. Ice will be resurfaced between games.
   
9. If one player has 3 penalties in one game he/she will sit the balance of the game. If the same player has 3 penalties in the 2nd game he/she will not skate the remainder of the tournament.
